In Japanese mythology, Susanoo is the god of storms—bringing the chaos of wind, fields, and harvests. After causing some mischief, he got himself banished to the ocean, becoming the god of the sea too. Nowadays, Susanoo’s rep has grown—he’s also seen as a deity of love and marriage.
